On October 28, 2008 the NWSA Board of Directors approved the formation of a NWSA Timber Faller Chapter.
The interim steering committee for that chapter is:
Shari Downhill, Northwest Timber Fallers
Lee Miller, Miller Timber Services
Saul Labanauskas, Brothers Industries
Glenn Johnson, Backlund Logging Co.
Tim Burleigh, Ground Zero Timber Fallers
The steering committee will be working recruitment, agenda for the 2009 year of work strategy, and also will be sending out invitations to all that hold a Faller Module Contract in every region to attend a Chapter meeting in Reno to coincide with the NWSA Annual Conference held at the Peppermill in Reno from Feb. 21-25, 2009.
The Chapter has also establised a website at for the NWSA Timber Faller Chapter for all those interested in the Chapter.
